Wheaton Miniature Train & Ovid Hazen Wells Carousel

Wheaton Miniature Train and
Ovid Hazen Wells Carousel

The Wheaton Miniature Train is a third-scale replica of the 1863 C.P. Huntington engine, with passenger cars. The train takes riders on a two-mile trek through Wheaton Regional Park, with the highlights being a miniature trestle bridge, plenty of wildlife and of course the tunnel!

Constructed in 1915, the Ovid Hazen Wells Carousel features 33 hand-carved horses, three zebras and two chariots. The Carousel was located on the National Mall from 1967 until 1981.

The Wheaton Miniature Train Party Room is a perfect spot for a family celebration or your child’s next birthday party.
