Where to Park
Free parking for the museum is located at the Shriver Aquatic Center and Wall Park, a 1.5 block walk from the museum. There are a limited number of accessible parking spots at the museum.
Parking Lot at the Shriver Aquatic Center & Wall Park
5900 Executive Boulevard, North Bethesda
The entrance to the parking lot for the Aquatic Center and Wall Park is located at the intersection of Executive Blvd and Marinelli Road. As you enter the parking lot, drive past the Aquatic Center on your right to the far end of the lot. There you will find the entrance to Wall Park and the accessible pathway to Old Georgetown Road. After you exit the pathway onto Nicholson Lane, turn right and you will be at the intersection of Nicholson Lane and Old Georgetown Road. Cross both Nicholson Lane and Old Georgetown Road, and continue walking south for about 100 yards. The museum is on your right.

Getting Here by the Meto and Bus
The Red Line Metro stop at North Bethesda is 0.6 miles away, and Ride-On Route 26 has a stop within 50 yards of the Visitor Center.

Bicycle Access
There are bicycle lanes on either side of Old Georgetown Road, and bike racks are available at the Visitor Center. Please bring your own lock and do not bike on the path through the Park.
Buying Tickets
Tickets to Josiah Henson Museum & Park are available onsite at the Visitor Center.
$5 Adults ages 18-54
$4 Seniors ages 55 and up
$4 Children ages 6-17
Children under 6 are free
Josiah Henson Museum & Park is a Blue Star Museum and free to Active-Duty Military, Reservists, and National Guard and their families from May 18 through September 2, 2024.
