This annual juried exhibition of botanical art features artists affiliated with Brookside Gardens and the Botanical Art Society of the National Capital Region (BASNCR). This year’s show highlights the important relationship between plants and the bees, butterflies, birds and other pollinators that benefit from them. The works on display are portrayed in watercolor, pen and ink, colored pencil, and graphite.

The Botanical Art Society of the National Capitol Region is an active organization of talented botanical artists. Incorporated as a non-profit in 2008, BASNCR serves over 90 members, the majority of whom live in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Many of its members also belong to the American Society of Botanical Artists, the premier botanical art association in the United States.

Art works will be on display at the Brookside Gardens Visitor Center and available for purchase in the Gift Shop.
