Natural Resources
Black Hill Regional Park offers a wealth of diverse habitats for flora and fauna in upper Montgomery County. Montgomery Parks’ naturalists and resource specialists, as well as members of professional societies and other experts have developed the following resource list for birds, butterflies and dragonflies observed within park boundaries:

In addition, visitors have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of various mammals, reptiles and amphibians. Fish species in Lake Seneca include: largemouth bass, tiger muskie, crappie, catfish and several types of sunfish.
