The Percheron Trail continues south under Airpark Road to the Pope Farm Nursery where a wide variety of trees, shrubs and ornamental plants are grown for Montgomery County’s 36,000+ acre park system.

Location:: The Farm Park is located at 18400 Muncaster Rd. Derwood, MD, just north of Muncaster Mill Road and east of the Montgomery County Airpark.
Trail length/surface:: There are 5.2 miles of Natural Surface trails winding throughout the Farm Park and its adjacent fields.
Trail characteristics:: The trails within the Farm Park, all natural surface, take you on a tour of the surrounding fields and countryside. The Percheron trail continues south under Airpark Road to the Pope Farm Nursery where a wide variety of trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants are grown for Montgomery County’s 30,000-acre park system.
Drinking water:: Yes, at the Activity Center (M-F 8am to 4pm)
Restrooms:: Yes, at the Activity Center (M-F 8am to 4pm)
Access and parking:: An asphalt parking lot is located to the left of the activity center. Horse trailer parking is located adjacent to the asphalt lot.
