Angling opportunities abound in Montgomery Parks!
Four lakes, 490 stream miles, and several ponds host more than 70 species of fish and accessible options for anglers of all ages to cast from docks and shorelines or by kayak or boat.
Some of our most popular locations to fish include:
- Little Seneca Lake at Black Hill Regional Park
- Lake Needwood & Lake Frank in Rock Creek Regional Park
- Northwest Branch Stream Valley Park along the banks of the Northwest Branch of the Anacostia River.
Kings Local Park, Rock Creek Regional Park, and Black Hill Regional Park have fishing piers for increased accessibility, and an ADA restroom is also available near the Black Hill Fishing Pier. Check out Before You Go and What to Know so that you are ready for fishing in Montgomery Parks!
