Campfire Party
Gather around the campfire for stories, games, and of course, S’mores! Offered year-round. Ages 5 to 12. The campfire party costs $210.
Wild Encounter Party
Parks aren’t just for people! Come meet one of our resident wild ambassadors and learn about what else lives in the park. Kids will also get to touch furs, antlers, and bones! Offered year-round. Ages 3 to 10.
Scavenger Hike
Let’s go exploring for Nature’s treasures! Hunts will change seasonally. Participants should be prepared to hike approximately 1 mile. Offered year-round. Ages 6 to 10.
Insect Bonanza
Lady bugs, spiders, and butterflies- oh my! Participants will get to examine insect specimens up close and then go out with nets to collect insects in the meadow. Offered April thru October. Ages 6 to 10
Flying WILD Party
Is your birthday child a birder in the making? Participants will play a game to learn about migration, go for a bird hike, and make a feathery craft. Offered year-round. Ages 5 to 10.
General Party Information
A fee of $125, includes a naturalist led program for up to 20 children. Group size, age limits, and party themes on parties are firm and not negotiable. Please review the party’s description to make sure it is the right fit for your group. A $75 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. This deposit will be used towards your total party payment, which is due two weeks prior to the party.
What is included?
- Birthday parties are 1 hour long.
- Led by a park naturalist with an activity designated by the party’s theme.
- All supplies for the activities are provided.
Picnic Shelter Rental Information
Picnic Shelters are available for rent for private party time. You can rent a picnic shelter either through activeMontogmery or by emailing Park Permits office. For more information on Black Hill Regional Park picnic shelters.
