WHEATON, Md. — Montgomery Parks is hosting Roller Disco on Friday, May 17, at the inline skating rink at Ridge Road Recreational Park. The event is free and open to all ages.
“We encourage guests to embrace the nostalgia of the ‘70s and ‘80s disco era by dressing up in their best funkadelic outfits for a silly and fun evening outdoors with friends and family,” said Jordan Crumback, special event coordinator with Montgomery Parks Activation Program.
Roller Disco event details:
What: ‘70s and ‘80s themed Roller Disco
When: Friday, May 17 | 6 – 8 p.m.
Where: Ridge Road Recreational Park, 21155 Frederick Road, Germantown (a fully accessible inline skating rink)
This event will feature a live DJ and sweet treats for purchase from Sno Blast DMV. Attendees must bring their own skates. Seating is available but guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to picnic on the grass.
**Please note, only roller skates and in-line skates are permitted inside the rink. Skateboards, longboards, and bikes are not permitted.**
