WHEATON, Md. – Montgomery Parks reminds everyone that we move our clocks forward an hour this weekend and that means the start of spring/summer hours for the Open Parkways.
Spring/Summer Open Parkways schedule (starts Friday, March 8):
- Beach Drive between Connecticut and Knowles Avenue
- Saturdays at 7 a.m. through Sundays at 6 p.m.
- Sligo Creek Parkway between Old Carroll Avenue and Piney Branch Road and between Forest Glen Road and University Boulevard West
- Friday at 9 a.m. through Sundays at 6 p.m.
*Please note: Gate closures are intended to be completed by the times listed above. The re-opening of the parkways begins at the times listed above. However, this process may take up to 30 minutes to complete. These hours may change on federal holidays. Please visit our website for details.
